Basketball Game Preview: Beacon Bulldogs vs. Pine Bush Bushmen

The Beacon Bulldogs are taking a road trip to take on the Pine Bush Bushmen at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Both teams are coming into the game red-hot, with Beacon sitting on six straight victories and Pine Bush on 17 (dating back to last season).

Beacon is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Monday as they easily beat Port Jervis 66-25. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Bulldogs with their most commanding win of the season.

Meanwhile, Pine Bush was able to grind out a solid win over Middletown on Monday, taking the game 53-41.

Pine Bush's victory was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 14-0. As for Beacon, they have also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season.

Beacon ended up a good deal behind Pine Bush when the teams last played back in December of 2024, losing 39-25. Can Beacon avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
