Basketball Game Preview: Belmont Bison vs. Stivers School for the Arts Tigers

The Belmont Bison will head out to take on the Stivers School for the Arts Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Stivers School for the Arts took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Belmont, who comes in off a win.

Belmont is headed out in good spirits considering the team just ended their winless streak on the road against Linden-McKinley on Saturday. Belmont snuck past Linden-McKinley with a 43-38 victory. The win was some much needed relief for the Bison as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak dating back to last season.

Meanwhile, Stivers School for the Arts came up short against Africentric Early College on Saturday, falling 64-43. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Belmont's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Stivers School for the Arts, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 1-3.

Belmont didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Stivers School for the Arts in their previous meeting back in January, but they still walked away with a 64-59 win.
