Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Sotomayor). They strolled past the Camino Nuevo Dalzell Lance Campus Tigers with points to spare on Wednesday, taking the game 64-49.

Sotomayor's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ian Hernandez, who posted 11 points and four steals. Hernandez has also also been stellar as far as shooting accuracy is concerned: he's posted one of at least 67% every time he's hit the court this season. Another player making a difference was Richard Cortez, who dropped a double-double with 11 points and ten rebounds.

Sotomayor was working as a unit and finished the game with 16 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

The win got Sotomayor back to even at 2-2. As for Camino Nuevo Dalzell Lance Campus, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.
