Football Game Preview: Great Crossing Warhawks vs. Campbell County Camels + Official Tickets

The Great Crossing Warhawks will face off against the Campbell County Camels at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with seven consecutive losses dating back to last season for Great Crossing and six for Campbell County.

Great Crossing lost 46-20 to Ryle on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Warhawks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kentucky football rankings (they are ranked 64th, while the Raiders are ranked 13th).

Meanwhile, Campbell County lost to Simon Kenton on the road by a 38-21 margin on Friday.

Although Campbell County took the loss, they still got scores from Gavin Richardson, Cade Anthrop, and Cooper Lairson.

Great Crossing's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Campbell County, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.

Everything came up roses for Great Crossing against Campbell County in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 60-25 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warhawks since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
