             Paris had to hit the road for their first game and  it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They were  outmatched by the Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin Blue Devils on the road  and fell  69-35. The Tigers just can't catch a break and have now endured nine losses in a row dating back to last season.
 Paris lost  on Monday despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being   Carter Eastham, who  went 5 for 6 en route to 11 points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Karic Vitale, who  went 5 for 7 en route to 13 points plus seven  rebounds.
 Even though they lost, Paris  smashed the offensive glass and  finished the game with 20  offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  pulled down at least nine  offensive rebounds in five consecutive  contests  dating back to last season.
 Paris has already played their next matchup,  a  49-44  win against Covington on the 26th. As for Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin, they also  wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next  match,  a  68-42  victory against Milford on the 26th.
