Cooper Derrick put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in April of 2025 on Thursday. As a matter of fact, he turned in his biggest game of the season, striking out four batters over two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). He has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than two walks in nine consecutive appearances.
