Nipmuc Regional has gone 9-1 against Blackstone Valley RVT recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Warriors will venture away from home to face off against the Beavers at 3:30 p.m. Nipmuc Regional's pitching crew has only allowed 3.2 runs per game this season, so Blackstone Valley RVT's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Nipmuc Regional came out on top against Hudson on Saturday thanks in part to the team's impressive seven-run seventh inning. The Warriors skirted past the Hawks 7-5.

Alex Varney and Johnny Desmond did most of the damage at the plate: Varney went 3-for-4 with two RBI and one run, while Desmond went 3-for-4 with two RBI and one double. That's the most hits Desmond has posted since back in May of 2024. Jackson Allcock also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

Meanwhile, Blackstone Valley RVT was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 7-2 to Millbury, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior.

Blackstone Valley RVT saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alex Vosburgh, who went 2-for-4 with two doubles and one RBI.

Nipmuc Regional has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Blackstone Valley RVT, they now have a losing record of 8-9.

Nipmuc Regional skirted past Blackstone Valley RVT 1-0 in their previous matchup back in May of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
