Softball Recap: Quakertown Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Quakertown faced off against Upper Dublin on Tuesday. The Panthers took a 7-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cardinals. That makes it the first time this season the Panthers have let down their home crowd.

Kira Jefferson made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3.

The defeat was their first at home , dropping their record down to 5-5. As for Upper Dublin, their victory bumped their record up to 8-1.

Looking ahead, Quakertown will head out on the road to take on Methacton at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Upper Dublin, they will welcome Souderton at 3:45 p.m. on the 24th.
