Baseball Recap: Buffalo Comes Up Short

If Buffalo was riding high fresh off their 20-5 takedown of Mexia on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bison came up short against the Fairfield Eagles on Tuesday, falling 12-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 13-0 back in March.

Buffalo now has a losing record of 9-10. As for Fairfield, the win was the 12th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-2.

Coincidentally, Buffalo and Fairfield will both be playing Elkhart the next time they take the field. The Eagles will host the Elks at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Bison will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
