Softball Recap: Longmeadow Lancers vs. West Springfield Terriers

Longmeadow had to endure a four-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. They were the clear victor by a 17-5 margin over the West Springfield Terriers. That's more bragging rights for Longmeadow, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Isabella Blue made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out six batters over 3.1 innings while giving up just two earned runs off one hit. Blue was also big at the plate, scoring three runs while getting on base in three of her six plate appearances.
