Basketball Recap: Platt RVT Comes Up Short

Platt RVT lost against Grasso Tech back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Platt RVT Panthers took a blow against the Grasso Tech Eagles, falling 106-53.

Grasso Tech's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Julius Washington, who went 10-for-21 en route to 25 points and seven steals. Washington is crushing it when it comes to points: he's scored at least 15 every time he's taken the court this season. Taqiyyi (Taki) Bates was another key player, going 6-for-10 on his way to 16 points along with six assists and six steals.

Platt RVT's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Grasso Tech, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 games, which provided a nice bump to their 17-3 record this season.

As of now, neither Platt RVT nor Grasso Tech have any future games scheduled.
