Soccer Recap: Lincolnton Victorious

Lincolnton's game on Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They won by a goal and slipped past the Highland Tech Rams 3-2. Lincolnton had to overcome some adversity as Kendal Cordoba-Murillo and Alejandro Soto were both handed red cards.

Lincolnton hit Highland Tech with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Diego Abarca, Luis Salas-Torres, and Leineer Delgado-Nino.

The win got Lincolnton back to even at 6-6-1. As for Highland Tech, they moved to 10-2 with that loss, which also ended their seven-game winning streak.

Lincolnton wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 5-0 victory against West Lincoln on the 22nd. As for Highland Tech, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 4-0 win against East Gaston on the 24th.
