Basketball Recap: Archbishop Rummel Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from TJ Duhe and Harrison Chatagnier

It was a good run, but Archbishop Rummel unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 53-46 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Central Wildcats.

Harrison Chatagnier and TJ Duhe certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Chatagnier posted nine points and three steals, while Duhe scored 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Grant Latino, who earned eight points.

Archbishop Rummel's loss dropped their record down to 11-7. As for Central, the win (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 15-3.

Archbishop Rummel and Central should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Louisiana Rankings. Archbishop Rummel (ranked 43rd) will meet Carencro (ranked 140th) at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Archbishop Rummel is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 58 points per game this season. Similarly, Central will take on Ascension Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday up 206 places (21 vs. 227).
