Softball Recap: Monument Valley Mustangs vs. Many Farms Lobos
Monument Valley had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Wednesday. They never let the Many Farms Lobos get on the board and left with a 17-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Mustangs, who have now won five games by eight runs or more so far this season.
Adrianna Dominguez was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out eight over four innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.
