Panorama extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to 27 on Wednesday, dropping their season record down to 0-14 in the process. They lost 27-0 to the Sherman Oaks CES Knights. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 13-1 back in April.
Panorama saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dylan Sanchez, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.
As for Sherman Oaks CES, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 12-3. Considering they have won 11 contests by more than six runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.
On Sherman Oaks CES' side, Nicholas Bilicic and Colin Hauser were major factors while hitting and pitching. Throwing, Bilicic struck out six batters over two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). Meanwhile, Hauser tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. What's more, he posted two strikeouts, the most he's had since back in May of 2024. At the plate, Bilicic went 1-for-4 with two runs, two RBI, and one double, while Hauser went 3-for-5 with three stolen bases, three runs, and four RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Caleb Steinbach, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and three doubles. Another player making a difference was Anthony Medrano, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI.
Panorama does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Sherman Oaks CES, they will welcome East Valley at 2:30 p.m. on Friday.
