Volleyball Recap: Roncalli's Run of Three Straight Victories Now Over

After flying high against Britton-Hecla on Thursday, Roncalli came back down to earth. The Cavaliers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Herreid/Selby Wolverines on Saturday. The Cavaliers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wolverines apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

With the defeat, Roncalli broke their three-match winning streak and moved their record to 11-7. As for Herreid/Selby, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 19-4.

Coincidentally, Roncalli and Herreid/Selby will both be playing Northwestern Area the next time they take the court. The Cavaliers will head out to face the Wildcats at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Wolverines will play them later in the day, at 5:00 p.m.
