Meanwhile, Petersburg came up short against Pocahontas County two weeks ago and fell 49-41.

Liberty's loss dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Petersburg, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-8 record this season.
