Soccer Recap: Trinity Takes a Loss

Trinity was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They lost 14-0 to the Palestine Wildcats. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 755th, while the Wildcats are ranked 273rd).

Trinity's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Palestine, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Trinity will challenge Diboll at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Palestine, they will take on Crockett at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
