Pershing put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They took their matchup with ease, bagging a 63-18 victory over the Denby Tars. Given the Doughboys' advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 157th, while the Tars are ranked 454th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Pershing's win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-0. As for Denby, their defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-5.
