Football Recap: Collins Comes Up Short

Collins was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 30-20 to the North Forrest Eagles. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Collins' loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for North Forrest, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-4.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Collins is set to challenge their familiar foe Perry Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, North Forrest will square off against rival East Marion at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
