Shullsburg had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They beat the Ithaca Bulldogs on Friday by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 55-31. The Miners have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten matches by 20 points or more this season.

The win (which was Shullsburg's third in a row) raised their record to 15-5. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 27.7 points on average over those games. As for Ithaca, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 14-12.
