Basketball Recap: Glide Comes Up Short

Glide was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat. They were beaten by the Siuslaw Vikings 72-31. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Vikings this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 63-25 back in January.

Glide's loss dropped their record down to 4-17. As for Siuslaw, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 14 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-6 record this season.

Glide will be playing at home against Sutherlin at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Siuslaw, they will head out to face off against Douglas at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Douglas comes in on four and Siuslaw on eight.
