Softball Game Preview: Cheyenne Desert Shields vs. Democracy Prep Agassi Campus Blue Knights

The Cheyenne Desert Shields will challenge the Democracy Prep Agassi Campus Blue Knights at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Cheyenne will be strutting in after a victory while Democracy Prep Agassi Campus will be coming in after a loss.

Having struggled with three defeats in a row, Cheyenne turned things around against Western on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Warriors with a sharp 19-4 win. The result was nothing new for the Desert Shields, who have now won five contests by 13 runs or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Democracy Prep Agassi Campus was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss. They lost 20-5 to Moapa Valley. That's two games in a row now that the Blue Knights have lost by exactly 15 runs.

Democracy Prep Agassi Campus saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Zariah Gatlin, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one RBI.

Democracy Prep Agassi Campus' defeat dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Cheyenne, their victory bumped their record up to 5-9.
