Basketball Game Preview: Waubay/Summit Mustangs vs. Ipswich Tigers

The Waubay/Summit Mustangs will challenge the Ipswich Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Ipswich will be up against a hot Waubay/Summit team: the squad just extended their winning streak to three. Waubay/Summit was the clear victor by a 62-40 margin over Sisseton on Tuesday. The Mustangs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four contests by 22 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Ipswich). They breezed by Sully Buttes to the tune of 75-33 on Tuesday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

Waubay/Summit's win bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Ipswich, the victory got them back to even at 4-4.
