Recap: Georgia Christian Generals vs. Brookwood Warriors
The Georgia Christian Generals lost against the Brookwood Warriors back in November of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Georgia Christian fell 32-25 to Brookwood. While losing is never fun, Georgia Christian can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 204th, while Brookwood is ranked 67th).
Brookwood's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Morgan Boggs, who scored 11 points along with 5 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Maddie Duncan, who scored 7 points along with 10 rebounds and 3 steals.
Georgia Christian's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Brookwood, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.
Georgia Christian will be playing at home against Crisp Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Brookwood, they will head out on the road to face off against Grace Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Grace Christian Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 35 last Monday.
