The Pleasant Grove Eagles will challenge the Ponderosa Bruins at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Pleasant Grove will be strutting in after a victory while Ponderosa will be coming in after a defeat.

Pleasant Grove is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over Cosumnes Oaks on Wednesday. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Wolfpack recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

Madeline Lawson made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out eight over four innings pitched. Those hits were her first of the season. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs. Those two runs gave her a new career-high.

In other batting news, Shealynn Stinson was incredible, scoring four runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.
