Baseball Recap: Hackley Hornets vs. Dalton Tigers

Hackley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They wound up on the wrong side of a tough 10-2 walloping at the hands of the Dalton Tigers. Having soared to a lofty 14 runs in the game before, Hackley couldn't push the score so high this time.

For Dalton's part, Micha Schein tossed a big game, striking out seven batters over 4.1 innings while giving up just two earned runs off five hits (and only one walk).

On the hitting side, Jordan Mims was a standout: he scored two runs and stole two bases while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.
