Basketball Recap: New Haven Takes a Loss

New Haven and Hermann squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but New Haven had to settle for second. They took a 41-32 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hermann Bearcats. The Shamrocks just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

New Haven's loss dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Hermann, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 16-8.

While New Haven had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
