Soccer Recap: The New Community School vs. Summit Christian Academy
After flying high against West End Christian last Friday, The New Community School came back down to earth. The New Community School Sabers lost 9-3 to the Summit Christian Academy Eagles on Tuesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Sabers of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September.
The New Community School has been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season. As for Summit Christian Academy, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 8-3.
The New Community School will challenge Millwood at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Summit Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
