Roseville extended their postseason success on Thursday against Bradshaw Christian. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-5 win over the Pride. The victory was nothing new for the Tigers as they're now sitting on six straight.
Tyler Ritter tossed a big game, striking out seven batters over six innings while giving up three earned (and two unearned) runs off four hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in nine consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Austin Chang, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI and one double. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April.
Roseville's win bumped their record up to 21-11. As for Bradshaw Christian, they moved to 27-4 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.
As of now, neither Roseville nor the Pride have any future games scheduled.
