Softball Recap: George County Extends Road Winning Streak to Seven

George County entered their tilt with Pascagoula on Tuesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They never let the Panthers get on the board and left with an 8-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Rebels, who have now won 13 games by six runs or more so far this season.

The result came thanks to Addison Davis's shutout, as she gave up just four hits and racked up 13 Ks. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 13 consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Jordyn Bradley was incredible, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one triple. That's the most hits she has posted since back in February. Aryana Dixon was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-3.

George County pushed their record up to 23-2 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.4 runs over those games. As for Pascagoula, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-14.

George County will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Panthers: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
