Football Game Preview: Lake Mary Rams vs. North Miami Beach Chargers

Lake Mary is a perfect 3-0 against North Miami Beach since October of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Rams will host the Chargers at 7:00 p.m. The two teams are strolling into their matchups after big wins in their previous games.

Lake Mary is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past Hagerty 55-17 on Friday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Rams considering their three-point performance the contest before.

Noah Grubbs went supernova, throwing for 329 yards and six touchdowns while picking up 11.3 yards per attempt. What's more, he racked up 117.7 passer rating, the most he's had since back in November of 2024. Oshea Faison helped Grubbs out on the ground, picking up 63 receiving yards and a pair of scores, while also rushing for 54 yards on only seven carries.

Lake Mary didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Hagerty to a completion percentage of just 43.5%. The Rams weren't nearly as limited: they posted one of 69%.

Meanwhile, North Miami Beach waltzed into their game on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Wildcats 42-0. Given the Chargers' advantage in MaxPreps' Florida football rankings (they are ranked 173rd, while the Wildcats are ranked 489th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.
