Baseball Recap: Seymour Indians vs. Mendon Unity Mustangs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Calhoun, Seymour was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged the Mendon Unity Mustangs out 6-4. For Seymour, this counts as revenge for the 6-1 defeat Mendon Unity walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April.

Connor Howell was incredible, going 1-for-3 with a home run and three RBI. Another player making a difference was Hunter Miller, who scored two runs while going 3-for-4.

On Mendon Unity's side, Sawyer Allen put in work no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and only two hits while striking out six over four innings pitched. Allen has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive pitching appearances. Allen was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-3 with a stolen base, two RBI, and a double.
