Softball Recap: Hammond Comes Up Short

After flying high against Oakland Mills on Monday, Hammond came back down to earth. The Bears came up short against the Winters Mill Falcons on Friday, falling 10-0. The Bears haven't had much luck with the Falcons recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Hammond's defeat dropped their record down to 6-16. As for Winters Mill, their victory ended a ten-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 6-12.

Hammond does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Winters Mill, they will face off against Wilde Lake at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
