Soccer Recap: Keenan Comes Up Short

Keenan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 11-0 to the Newberry Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Newberry this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 6-0 back in March.

Keenan's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Newberry, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-6-1.

Keenan will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Swansea at 6:00 p.m. on the 28th. As for Newberry, they will be playing at home against Mid-Carolina at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Newberry's defense better be ready for this one: Mid-Carolina have averaged an impressive 5.7 goals per game this season.
