Soccer Recap: Pace Comes Up Short at Home Against United South

Pace unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They fell 4-2 to the United South Panthers on Saturday. The Vikings were probably out for revenge after losing 1-1 to them when the teams met back in January of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The win was the third in a row for United South, bringing their record for this year to 3-1-1.

Pace will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Donna North at 5:30 p.m. on January 31st. United South has already played their next matchup, a 2-2 draw against Harlingen on the 28th.
