Softball Recap: Reading Starts off Right with Win over Pittsford

Reading took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Friday. They put the hurt on the Pittsford Wildcats with a sharp 10-0 victory. The Rangers haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

Maggie Santure was incredible, going 3-for-4 with four RBI, one triple, and one run.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Reading is packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will square off against Bronson at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Rangers' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Pittsford, they are taking a road trip to take on Morenci at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
