Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Alamosa). They were the clear victors by a 20-2 margin over the Gunnison Cowboys on Tuesday. The Mean Moose might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matchups by nine runs or more this season.

Alamosa got a great performance from Olivia Castillo as she tossed five innings while giving up just two earned runs off five hits.

At the plate, Taelynn Kreps-Smith and Araceli Molina did most of the damage at the plate: Kreps-Smith went a perfect 4-for-4 with five RBI, three runs, and two doubles, while Molina got on base in four of her five plate appearances with four runs, three RBI, and one stolen base. Those two doubles gave Kreps-Smith a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Shaya Martin, who went 2-for-5 with three RBI, two runs, and one double.

Alamosa has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season.
