Volleyball Recap: Edgemont's Luck Changes for the Better on Saturday

Edgemont came into Saturday's matchup having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against the Bowman County co-op [Bowman/Rhame/Scranton] Bulldogs by a score of 2-0 on Saturday.

Raelee Provorse paced Edgemont's offense, picking up ten kills. Provorse got some help from Kaylee Mergen and her six assists. Maddison Hirschfeld controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Edgemont's victory bumped their record up to 8-9. As for Bowman County co-op [Bowman/Rhame/Scranton], their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Edgemont has already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Lakota Tech on the 27th. As for Bowman County co-op [Bowman/Rhame/Scranton], they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Bison at 7:00 p.m. on October 16.
