Softball Recap: Concord Takes a Loss

Concord fell victim to DeWitt and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 12-0 to the Dragons. It was the first time this season that the Pirates let down their fans at home.

Concord's defeat dropped their record down to 8-4. As for DeWitt, their victory was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-0.

Concord wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 4-1 loss against Genoa Central on the 22nd. As for DeWitt, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 4-1 win against Malvern on the 22nd.
