Basketball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Judah Gilbert and Terrance Collins Lead Stanhope Elmore to Victory

Stanhope Elmore won against Tallassee on Monday with 78 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Tuesday. The Stanhope Elmore Mustangs were the clear victor by a 78-57 margin over the Tallassee Tigers. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 78-57 on Monday.

Leading Stanhope Elmore to victory were Terrance Collins and Judah Gilbert. Collins dropped a double-double on 18 points and ten rebounds, while Gilbert posted 18 points. Gilbert's morning made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Kam Anderson, who had eight points and nine boards.

The win made it two in a row for Stanhope Elmore and bumps their season record up to 11-12. As for Tallassee, they dropped their record down to 2-17 with the defeat, which was their ninth straight on the road.

Stanhope Elmore didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 1-0 victory against Elmore County on the 28th. Tallassee has also already played their next contest, a 70-63 loss against Stanhope Elmore on the 30th.
