Volleyball Recap: Randolph Picks Up Sixth Consecutive Win

Randolph waltzed into their contest on Saturday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Elcho Hornets.

Randolph was led to victory by Annika Reed and Aubrey Kaufman. Reed had nine digs and two assists, while Kaufman had four aces and one assist. Sophia Schmit also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

They weren't the only good servers: Randolph was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Elcho only served six.

Elcho's loss came despite strong showings from Kayla Siemers and Payton Malitz. Siemers had 14 digs, while Malitz had five assists and four digs.

Randolph now has a winning record of 14-13. As for Elcho, they now have a losing record of 11-12.

Randolph wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-1 loss against Dodgeville on the 4th. As for Elcho, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Holmen on the 4th.
