Basketball Recap: St. Peter Comes Up Short

St. Peter lost against Jackson County Central back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The St. Peter Saints fell to the Jackson County Central Huskies 64-60. The Saints have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

St. Peter's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Jackson County Central, their win was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Peter will venture away from home to face off against New Ulm at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in New Ulm's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. Jackson County Central will take on Fairmont in a holiday battle at at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Fairmont knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Jackson County Central likes a good challenge.
