Liberty Tree Academy won the last time they faced Sheridan and things went their way on Wednesday too. The War Eagles secured a 63-57 W over the Rams. The win made it back-to-back victories for the War Eagles.

Liberty Tree Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kaleb Mendez led the charge by going 8-for-14 to rack up 26 points and five boards. Jeremiah Sander also deserves some recognition as he scored his first points of the season.

Despite the defeat, Sheridan had strong showings from Gabriel Hernandez, who shot 50% from the field en route to 15 points along with eight rebounds and six steals, and Bobby Garcia, who went 9-for-16 on his way to 20 points in addition to seven boards and five assists. The game was Garcia's third in a row with at least 20 points. Noah Gallegos was another key player, putting up 11 points along with five assists and four steals.

Liberty Tree Academy now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Sheridan, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Liberty Tree Academy will take on Deer Trail at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Sheridan, they will square off against DSST: College View at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Rams will need to watch out since the Wolves have now posted at least 55 points in their last three contests.
