Preview: North Crawford Trojans vs. Seneca Indians
North Crawford and Seneca are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2019, but not for long. The North Crawford Trojans are on the road again on Friday and plays the Seneca Indians at 7:15 p.m. on February 9th. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
North Crawford pushed their score all the way to 55 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 61-55 hit to the loss column at the hands of De Soto.
Meanwhile, Seneca's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fourth straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 62-32 loss at the hands of La Farge/Youth Initiative. Seneca has not had much luck with La Farge/Youth Initiative recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
North Crawford has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season. As for Seneca, they dropped their record down to 1-17 with that loss, which was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season.
North Crawford strolled past Seneca in their previous matchup back in January by a score of 62-48. The rematch might be a little tougher for North Crawford since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
