Volleyball Recap: Minico Spartans vs. Mountain Home Tigers
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Pocatello, Minico was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Mountain Home Tigers. The win was some much needed relief for the Spartans as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.
Minico was generally in control, but really had to dig deep in the third set to get the win. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-13, 25-27, 25-14.
The victory got Minico back to even at 5-5. As for Mountain Home, they are on a 20-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.
Minico will square off against Burley at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Mountain Home, they will be playing at home against Gooding at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Mountain Home is facing Gooding at the right time seeing as Gooding is stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
