Softball Recap: South Albany Takes a Loss

South Albany couldn't beat Silverton on Monday even though they stacked four runs on them in the fourth inning. The Redhawks lost 16-5 to the Foxes. The Redhawks have struggled against the Foxes recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.

South Albany saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hannah Barnes, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one run and one RBI.

South Albany's defeat dropped their record down to 7-14. As for Silverton, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-6.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. South Albany is set to challenge their familiar foe McKay at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Silverton will square off against rival Dallas at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
