Henderson is 8-1 against Great Valley since April of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Warriors will be playing in front of their home fans against the Patriots at 4:00 p.m. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Henderson and Unionville meet (three straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Monday. The Warriors won by a run and slipped past the Longhorns 4-3.

Henderson saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Liam Schwinn, who scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Meanwhile, Great Valley had already won seven in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.6 runs) and they went ahead and made it eight on Tuesday. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured an 11-10 W against the Eagles. That's two games straight that the Patriots have won by just one run.

Cooper Callahan made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs off one hit. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (three). He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.

In other pitching news, Gus Warlick looked comfortable as he struck out seven batters over four innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off three hits. Those earned runs marked the first that he tossed this season.

Back at the plate, Brady Hounsell was incredible, getting on base in all five of his plate appearances with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March. Joey Newell was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances.

Great Valley was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .429. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .303 or higher in six consecutive matches.

Great Valley pushed their record up to 11-1 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.3 runs over those games. As for Henderson, their win bumped their record up to 7-4.

Henderson took their victory against Great Valley when the teams last played back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 8-2 score. Will the Warriors repeat their success, or do the Patriots have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
