Volleyball Game Preview: Union Yellowjackets vs. St. Patrick Fighting Irish

The Union Yellowjackets will challenge the St. Patrick Fighting Irish on Tuesday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Union is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They blew past Jefferson Davis County 3-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Yellowjackets.

St. Patrick not only won on Saturday, but they posted their biggest win since September 9th (when they won 3-0). They put the hurt on Port Gibson with a sharp 3-0 victory.

St. Patrick's win bumped their record up to 23-17. As for Union, their victory bumped their record up to 29-11.

Union took their win against St. Patrick when the teams last played back in October of 2022 by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Yellowjackets repeat their success, or do the Fighting Irish have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
