Basketball Game Preview: Many Farms Lobos vs. Monument Valley Cougars

The Many Farms Lobos will head out on the road to square off against the Monument Valley Cougars at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

On Tuesday, Many Farms ended up a good deal behind St. Johns and lost 50-36.

Meanwhile, Monument Valley didn't have quite enough to beat Shiprock on Thursday and fell 43-41.

Many Farms will have to contain Dakotah Cly as she made an impact in Monument Valley's last game. She posted 15 points. Cly's evening made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. Shikeeya Hudson was another key player, putting up ten points.

Monument Valley has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-8 record this season. That patch can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.5 points per game. As for Many Farms, their loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 15-6.
